Elle’s warm, engaging and supportive approach, will ensure you feel immediately relaxed in the therapeutic environment. Elle is an experienced psychologist who has worked in the healthcare and community sectors for over 15 years.  She has worked within multi-disciplinary teams of allied health professionals to support adolescents and adults across a broad range of mental health difficulties; assisting client’s to achieve optimal well-being outcomes. Elle is experienced in both face-to-face and online therapy approaches.


Elle utilises an integrative approach drawing on a variety of evidence-based methods includes Solution-focused (brief) therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Interpersonal Therapy; Mindfulness; and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. Elle’s areas of interest include working with individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, women’s health,  interpersonal and relationship difficulties, life transition and adjustment difficulties; and self-esteem and confidence issues.


After attaining her BA in Psychology at Monash University, Australia and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology through Deakin University, Australia;  Elle travelled abroad for 2 years. Upon her return Elle undertook a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy, then a Masters of Counselling in Psychology through Swinburne University. Elle is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).


Elle’s Master’s thesis examined the evaluation of a Stress Management program developed for VCE students. Elle has a particular interest working with individuals, navigating life changes and challenges including: depression, stress and anxiety, empowering her clients, proving a safe and supportive environment. Elle’s areas of interest include: Women’s Health and Perinatal Wellness; Interpersonal and Relationship Problems; Life Transition and Adjustment Difficulties; Self-esteem and Confidence Issues, as well as Eating Disorders.


Elle believes in an integrative approach drawing on a variety of evidence-based methods to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. Elle believes attitude is also an important factor in the processes of health maintenance and healing. She believes in the power of a positive state of mind to bring harmony to the body. The realisation that body (lifestyle), spirit (desire), and mind (belief) must come together is the first step to better mental health.


Elle encourages greater awareness of the self and others; increasing levels of self-worth; promoting further insight through self-exploration and developing a sense of personal empowerment through finding meaning and creativity in adversity as well as exploring unconscious bias. Elle is passionate about creating a partnership with her clients as they navigate towards the goal of achieving an authentic sense of holistic wellbeing.
